What’s a girl who read a Jacqueline Wilson novel a week & wrote 10,000 words on feminism in Austen’s protagonists meant to do?

Well, it wasn’t that obvious to me as I only discovered copywriting in my final year of university after dipping my toes in journalism, penning a novel, and writing SEO content for a dog blog. That’s a story for another time.

I happened across copywriting while searching for ways to further my writing career + continue developing the craft I’ve tethered myself to since childhood.

Soon after this, I fell head-over-heels for website copywriting. It combined my love of sales, marketing, and creative writing. Plus, SEO’s ability to help you reach the people who need to hear your message & see your work most was endlessly fascinating to me (still is!)

‘Website copywriter’ truly felt like the dream job I never knew existed.

I graduated from university and threw myself into freelance copywriting with as much unbridled passion and devotion as Austen’s most beloved romances.

It took 2 name changes, one *big* rebrand, and many iterations of this website copy to uncover Cupid Copy: a website copywriting studio championing the stories + voices of women having a positive impact on the world and their communities.
